We build guidance for journeys that have no map. Hospitals first, because the journeys there are the hardest ones we have found.

Why journeys
About

Why journeys

Every journey is a path through more possibilities than a person can hold in their head. Which corridor, which counter, which order, which hour. Most of that space is invisible until something goes wrong in it, and then it costs an hour and a morning's patience.

A map is the oldest tool for making that space legible. We build maps for journeys, and we build them for the journeys people cannot see: the order of a day, the length of a queue, the person who takes over at the next desk.

Why hospitals first
About

Why hospitals first

A hospital visit is the hardest journey most people will make. It has places, times, dependencies, queues, and handoffs between people who are busy. The visitor is often unwell, frequently accompanied, and doing this for the first time. When guidance works here, the same five pieces work in a station, a campus, an airport, or a treatment plan that never enters a building.

The hospital is also where we can measure. Missed slots, wait times, and the number of times a staff member has to stop and point the way are all numbers a hospital already tracks.

How we think
About

How we think

Start where the friction is worst
One area, measured, beats a whole campus mapped badly.
State what is real
Every claim on this site carries a status. We would rather mark something exploring than dress up a plan.
Make the interface forgettable
Guidance that works is guidance a person stops noticing.
Stay independent
Open tools, no vendor lock-in, and data that belongs to the venue.
Work in the open
Every partnership ends in a case study we publish together.
The team
About

The team

We are small, and we plan to grow alongside the first deployments.

Engineering:
routing, map pipelines, and the systems that keep them fast in a real building
Design:
interfaces that hold a person's place in a journey without asking for attention
Where we are headed
About

Where we are headed

The map layer is running. The journey layer is what the pilots are for: ordered steps, queue estimates, and departures timed against the walk.

Past that, journeys extend beyond buildings. A treatment plan, an admission process, a semester. Each one has places, an order, waits, and handoffs, and each one is currently held together by paper, memory, and somebody at a desk answering the same question fifty times a day.
